Valencia restrictions

Valencia restrictions

Postby Philip David » Sun Apr 25, 2021 9:25 am

Marcliff, has the restrictions changed in our region? A relative in the UK sent me a photo, posted on Facebook on the 4th April showing a group of approximately 20 ladies celebrating a birthday party at a restaurant in Cabo Roig , they were seated on 3 tables, with little social distancing and nobody wearing a face mask.

The question my relative was asking why can people in Spain go to a restaurant, celebrate in large groups and not wear face masks. I responded they cannot>

The answer is, of course, no. The restrictions of a maximum of 6 at a table and a maximum of 30% inside but 100% on outside have been in place some time.

The only difference in the lowering of restrictions (from tomorrow) is that they can open until 2200 instead of 1800. Birthday parties don't count as religious gatherings.

If people are being stupid and the owners of the bar/restaurant allow them then there's not really a lot that can be done.
