The greatest game ever!
Commiserations to the wonderful French, Mbappe in particular, who scored the first hatrick in a World Cup final, whereby all three crossed the line!!
However, well done Argentina. The best in the World.

Well the record books state categorically that Geoff Hurst scored the first hat trick in a World Cup final, and the linesman who was officiating stated the ball crossed the line. And in my opinion that was the greatest game of all time played by footballers that didn’t throw themselves on the floor every 5 mins.

Until today
Well done Kylian Mbappe for scoring the fastest World Cup hat trick , that crossed the line, ever.
What's done is done, let's celebrate the new hatrick King and the new Champions of World Cup football. ARGENTINA.

Thank goodness its all over.
Can someone interested in football explain why all the regular programs on the main channels have to be disrupted just to show football when there are other channels where repeats are continually shown where those interested in sport could easily watch it. Also when the timeslot overruns why programs are delayed and we still suffer so called experts discussing a game you have just watched.
I do not accept that the majority are interested. If women are more than 50% of the population, most of them are not interested, and like me a proportion of men share the same view.

Thank God the international Chucking Yourself About and Rolling around like a big Girl's blouse Competition has finished.
Now there's only one more week of the c word lunacy to tolerate before some degree of normality returns.
Happy 2023 from Super Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrinch.

By that rational, why do we have Wimbledon or the Open Golf every year in TV?
Why do we have wall to wall soaps or reality TV?
The simple answer to all of the above is that people DO watch them and they are popular. The England v France game had over 21m viewers, the 2nd biggest TV audience this century, apart from Lizzie's funeral.
