Visitors to Spain

Hi all

I picked up this on line. I think I've seen something like it before, but thought. I'd share it anyway.

If you have visitors coming sending them an email carta de invitation may avoid any potential problems. And it's simple enough to do.

More fiction from the gutter press
If a visitor to Spain has a UK Passport they do not need any letters and if other Passport then they will need a visa and a letter of invitation which has to come from a Police office in the area they are staying if in private acommodation

Hi all I hold a uk passport and own a property in spain. Will I have to produce any other documents? So much about this online some say yes some say no, it's getting confusing.
I am out in a couple weeks to check on my villa after not being there since September 2023, hopefully no break in or squatters as there are some in our road.

From what jpeg is saying - and I trust his advice - you just need your passport. It might be worth carrying a proof of address, if you have one, just in case. I usually have by NIE certificate with me when I travel. That's probably not necessary, but it's just in my 'going to Spain' folder!
