What’s Your Favourite Restaurant

Good afternoon all,

One of our favourite places to go and eat and relax has recently closed,LaCosecha. We followed Simon the owner from Viloriens after their tenancy lapsed. Of course there are lots of places to go, we are very spoilt, I just wondered what is YOUR favourite restaurants/places to eat and chill out and have fun?

Grumpy Italian on Avenida de Las Naciones. But you have to book.

Or the Jukebox on the way to guardamar. The hot stone steaks are fantastic. €20 per head including several drinks.

I stopped going to Grumpy's after I was there with friends & Grumpy gave me the bill & stood waiting at the table to be paid. Very rude I thot, however I have recently returned cos the food is good!!

The place we return to again and again is Paprika Fusion.

We have friends with particular dietary requirements and they offer a great selection of dishes that offer something a bit different, beautifully cooked.

He did that to a large group who were at the table we had reserved. He only has one large table and they'd been there nursing their drinks for well over an hour - I'd seen them there when I'd called in to check my booking. In that case I can understand his need to rush people out. His grumpy demeanour is just a front, but one that makes us all remember the restaurant. That and the great food!
