Where is the noise coming from??

Ang2a, I'm sure its nothing sinister. It wont hurt to ask while you're in Algorfa though. We went to Guardamar last night to see the Moors & Christian procession. That was noisy and the bands come from all over the locality. Perhaps the noise you are hearing is a band close by practicing. These processions go on everwhere all the time.

It comes from a disco in Los Montesinos called "Revival", complete with searchlights in the sky. Some weekends it can go on until 9 a.m. Police are apparently aware(?)
(They have concerns about noise and drug-abuse, but nothing ever gets done which does suggest a tad of corruption???????????)
Denuncias can be made at the Municipal Centre in Quesada (Guardia Civil) -Take interpreter if spanish not too good. They are helpful and understanding (and just have a new boss who is from outside the area !!!!!!!!!!!!) http://www.discorevival.com/web2012/

Typical - you think you've got it sorted and money comes into the equasion!
Anyway Mike, yes there we were at 6am this morning standing on the top terrace, (we're quite high) trying to pinpoint it. Then my husband spied a sort of huge shed in the distance, lights ablaze, then all the lights went out and so the drumming stopped. When I say "drumming" it's the sort of bass drums you get with disco techno music and sometimes, it is so fast you can just imagine all the dope heads in a frenzy! There have been times when it's gone on until 7.30am. On our way to Benijofar this morning I tried to keep the shed in my sights but it eventually disappeared. I'll get up again if I hear it tonight, just in case I can see search lights in the darker sky, but Los Montesinos is a long way from us and the other way from where we get the noise.
The plot thickens. Thank goodness for sunglasses to hide the eye bags.

No, last weekend was pretty awful, seems to start on Thursday through to Saturday night/Sunday morning. We shall see what happens tonight. Spoke to Local Police (Algorfa) who seem to know nothing, but President now aware. Someone did mention it may not be music at all but somthing mechanical within the artichoke farms and pomegranate orchard we're surrounded with, like a watering system. We have our own little Fiesta starting 10/8 for 3 days, maybe the noise will drown it out although TKO Gold are only on stage until midnight (us oldies need our sleep)!!!!!
