woodburner flue

Want a log burner installed, can the flue go up through the ceiling to the terrace above rather than out through the wall? Any knowledgable people out there that can help?

Yes had ours put through lounge ceiling into bedroom, then through bedroom ceiling into chimney that was built. Upstairs toasty warm as no wasted heat outside

We had ours put through the lounge ceiling to the bedroom above and then up the stairs and through a wall to the outside. Ambifuego did it for us. In cold weather we use the bedroom with the chimney passing through it.
