Dog in need of exercise and good company for free?

Dog in need of exercise and good company for free?

Postby tryggvithor » Wed Jan 10, 2018 5:27 pm

Hi, we are wondering if someone with a dog would like to have it taken for walks etc for free. The "dog walker" would be our 11 year old son. He is a very responsible and well behaved young man - and we would expect the same qualities from the dog in question :-) We live next to Av. del Aeropuerto and the dog would have to be located very close to that. We have a lot of experience with dogs. If interested then please send a pm.

you would need to get insurance in case of any accidents or if the dog did damage to anyone or property etc, also does your son have any aversion to picking up poo!! have seen lots of youngsters who won't do it. Sorry to put a damper on it but it can be a tricky business, would never let a child walk one of mine sorry. I am sure he is a responsible young lad but anything could happen to him or the dog.

Thank you for your concerns. It goes without saying that anyone walking a dog, owner or others should always pick up after the dog and that would be well taken care off in this case.

its concern for the child as well if a large dog comes at him he may not be able to do anything!!! There is a man near me who has an enormous and very fierce rottie which he can't control proprly, we have to stay well away from him as he doesn't from us....I can pick my dog up and run...but the little boy may not be able to

Presumably the rottie is muzzled ....as for some reason they are on dangerous dogs list here.
I have a English bull mastiff who is very friendly to people and other dogs ....trouble is the little yappy dogs who have a go at her ....the other day she was surrounded by 4 small yappy dogs who ran out of a house up by Harry's bar ...all barring their teeth and going for her ....fortunately my dog ignored them ...but could have quite easily ripped their heads off then she would be in the wrong ....so perhaps all dog owners should learn to control the dogs
