Dogs on beaches
Dogs on beaches
by helenchap56 » Sun Oct 30, 2016 4:35 pm
I know its not legal before anyone says anything but have heard from November a blind eye is turned to dogs on the beach or elsewhere
Can anyone tell me the best places to take 3 small dachshunds either beaches or elsewhere where it may be quieter or more secluded or dogs may be tolerated more
Not dog beaches
Thanks

Hi don,t know your location 1 there is a legal dog beach santa pola i personally use the dog beach at playa flamenca cala mosca)small fairly secluded its next to the nudist beach and apart from them its a lovely place to let dogs off.they just walk across beach,i,m sure if you ask a few local dog walkers you,ll get your wish

VERY IMPORTANT: See that your dogs are well trained and behaved and also very social towards both humans and other animals. A lot of people don't like seeing a dog on the beach, but say nothing if they are perfect in behavior. Also leave no mess, and clean up after the dog. Don't just put it under the sand! Lets respect each other.
If we all talk that into consideration we don't spoil it for other dog lovers and owners. I find we are restricted enough so lets try and keep everybody happy!!!
Remember: its not the dogs fault, its the owner!!!!

Its not the dogs fault its the owner times the dogs mess is not cleaned up, children play in the sand remember when you was young? dog mess can result in blindness if any one gets it in their eyes , Lets keep our beaches clean after all would you like it on your front I think no would be the answer so act responsible for the environment other wise it would get out of control.

For those of you who have asked about dog beaches in the area, Torrevieja is setting up two areas where dogs can go during the summer.
Both are rocky beaches and one is between La Mata and Torrevieja at Cala del Moro and the other one as you leave Torrevieja before Orihuela Costa at Punta Margalla.
Supposed to be starting June this year and details can be found in Diario Informacion for Alicante.
