Pepas Bar - Free WiFi

Postby Jan » Wed Apr 10, 2013 11:16 pm

Pepas Bar & Diner above the Gama (Jumerca) supermarket in Dona Pepa still has free WiFi. They have a breakfast, lunch & evening menu, all at reasonable prices. They also have a happy hour - see board below:

Just been in Pepas Bar and they have a new menu (see below). They have also just won a Coastrider Newspaper Culinary Award as Best Newcomer See http://www.coastrider.net/news/local-news-south/item/21444-coastrider-culinary-awards-2013.html:

Hello scouse,
It's a nice friendly place and like you we mainly just pop in for a drink, although we have had a snack during the day now and again which is always nice.

We only saw the menu the other day and, although it may not actually be new, we haven't seen it before. Therefore we haven't tried the meals but we may do soon.

Jan.

We went for the steak night (Thursdays) which was lovely. Homemade deserts are lovely too. The chef put himself out to make me a fresh chocolate fudge cake with ice cream after they had sold out from the desert fridge. Went round for a couple of breakfast mornings also. Friendly people and great service. Topped off with free Wi-Fi. My wife also liked the Tinto de Verano on tap, which is served in a very large glass! Recommend.
