Long term rental required spring 2014

Hi, new to this site. Looking to rent a house or villa, 3 bedrooms minimum, with a pool and near the centre.
Looking at around April to July...ish.
Also want to join local golf societies to improve my game.
Recently retired police officer so good references, CRB etc and non smoker.
Would prefer private owner direct, we are visiting for a few days towards the end of November to get a feel for the area.
