Getting access to police guests registration app

Postby Lana » Mon Jul 15, 2019 8:13 pm

Hi,
I went to Guardia Civil in May to get the access to their app to register guests. I gave them all documents. They told me that they will call me when to come and get the login and password. But since then no one called. My property manager went their with my authorization but they told her to wait for phone call. I understand that everything is slow in Spain but is anyone had the same problem recently? What can I do to get the access?
Thank you!

Hi Lana, it's Trina. It only took us a couple of days to get the phone call to go back and get the username and password, so there's no reason why you should have to wait this long. When are you next back in Quesada? I would suggest going back to the Guardia Civil and asking them in person, I don't think they'll give the details to Judith even with a letter of authorisation, they will just fob her off. Did you go to Almoradi Guardia Civil as they are the nearest ones to Quesada who are linked to the national database?

Also went to Almoradi Guardia Civil for access to the app. They told me 3 times I had to come back on a later time/date  . I just gave up. Giving someone a user and password doesn't take that long I guess.

We got ours at the same time we first went with our documents to register. We went, as they suggested, at 8am on Sunday morning when the relevant officer started his shift. Not sure why you would have to wait for the login details unless they just didn't have time to do it there and then. Ours took about one hour to process, but we came away with what we needed. I would suggest going there in person to discuss preferably with a Spanish speaker if don't know the language yourself.
