Postby gordystevas » Tue Sep 24, 2019 7:11 pm

Hello, this is the first time I've posted,we have holidayed in quesada 3 times in the past and found it to be a very pleasant town,we used to use OPI rental agents on the main Street but they now don't operate anymore.we've rented in calle Dr quiles sottilos and we would like to know of any agents who rent out villas in the near vicinity of these streets,I would appreciate any feedback, thank you and regards gordon stevenson

Make sure what ever you rent it has a tourist licence its important for you,you will know if they have one as they will need you passport details so they can inform the Guardia Civil of the names of the people stopping inthe villa

That's not strictly true, you will know if someone has a licence by the red notice by the front door. To submit guest's passport details to the Guardia Civil you need to be registered on the police database, or sign a form with the details on for submission in person to the Guardia Civil. Some home owners have a rental licence but haven't yet registered on the police database.
I agree though you should make sure the house has a tourist rental licence.
