Very long term rental on quesada
by Dawnandrob » Mon Jun 08, 2015 12:48 pm
Hello folks. I'm very new to this and rubbish online.
I am looking to rent a fully furnished property in quesada doña pepa area from around 16th October.
I have a friend who lives near the mini golf and would love to be within walking distance of this as I do not drive.
I am looking for 3 bedrooms. If anybody can point me in the right direction I am thinking of flying out on the 18th to the 23rd do if anyone has any info for me I would be grateful. Thanks very much

Thank you very much Jan,
such a big decision, but also scared and excited at the same time.
I am lucky to have a friend living in Quesada, and also looking forward to finding new friends.
Hopefully renting up near the country club, and as I don't drive it will be a nice walk to town from what I have seen on the map.
I will have a list as long as my arm when I come back on the 23rd june

It is nice up near the country club but so are other places and as you don't drive it is a bit of a hard slog up hill coming back from the main part of Quesada. It will also not be easy to get to and from a big supermarket from up there. Unless you are committed to the rental I would have a look at places within easier walking distance to everything you might need. Just a thought !

Thanks jan. No we are not committed I'm just going to see the place. Also one in doña pepa ( but can't go inside as occupied) and my friend has another 4 or 5 lined up for me to view My friend and I are walking up to the property when we go to view it. Then I will know it's hand about the walking bit. My friend will be taking me on the big shops so that's not bad. I will let you know how I get on

Good luck. Hope you find somewhere nice.
If your friend is taking you to big supermarkets in the car you should be OK but testing the walk first will be a good idea. We have done it a few times when there has been something good on at the Country club and going up there is a bit of an uphill trek but coming home down hill after a few drinks is much easier...the legs just go by themselves then.

Ha ha ha I am thinking of probably getting a prov licence n getting a scooter. If not I will have to get a push bike. Rob is still going t b working in the uk and will have a long weekend in every 4 so really will need to sort myself a little group of friends out. I would be looking for work to get me out n about and possibly voluntary work. As I'm sure jobs are very difficult to come by especially in October

The Club, near the Country Club has lots of things going on, amongst other activities they have a 'Dolly Mixtures' Ladies Club get together 2.30 to 5.00pm on a Friday.
Here's the location, map and contact details :

Here are the details of the daytime events at The Club as well: http://www.theclubquesada.com/day-time/
Also I think there is a Ladies lunch club with meetings locally too, so you should be able to make lots of new friends.

Cheers for that jan. Very much appriciated. As I'm a Yorkshire girl i tend to make friends easily. I see you stay In doña pepa. Is that a walk on the flat from quesada??? I will see next week when I get there but I am so excited that this dream is going to b reality. I have read the post about cockroaches and am a bit scared. I also saw a post where a snake was in simebodys house
