90 day rule again.

I know three couples who have flown into Alicante in the last week or so, who have passed through the airport with no passport checks.
Could it be that Spain will apply the same attitude to the 90 day rule as it did for many years prior to Brexit?

They have passed through the electric scanners where all passport/arrival info is recorded.

Were these couples Spanish residents, EU residents or UK residents? I've not heard of any UK residents flying into Spain and not having their passports stamped. Could be a bit awkward when they leave.

I had my passport scanned and stamped when i flew in on the 15th

Stamped or not - there is a record of all arrivals and departures as your passport is scanned.

I know people who’ve been here years & never properly registered.

Will it be heavily policed? Who knows…

Guess it depends if you’re happy to run the risk?
