Hello:
To Big Wheeler and Glassfull:

Maybe you should ask about dashcam, in Spain they are not legal since you have them recording all the time, it means they are security cameras and the only cameras on the street recording are installed by security forces (Guardia Civil, Policia Nacional and Policia Local)

You dont have a problem until someone go to the police compaining about your car.

They are legal but you may get into trouble if you share footage on social media. Look it up on the N332 Facebook page there's a write up from the traffic police all about it

You can read in the links i post WHEN and HOW are legal: the cameras can not be recording all the time, it doesnt have wifi, and the camera has a G sensor that make the camera start to record when there is an accident. I saw a lot of cameras online that just record ALL the time to everyone and this is not legal. So manual or with a sensor the camera only can record when there is a problem, not all the time.

Your first link simply says they can be used but, if used in evidence, must have the faces and number plates of those not involved blanked out.
The second one says that they are legal and the objection made under data protection was overruled.

The previous link to the Guardia Civil N332 agrees that they are legal provided that they aren't uploaded to social media and used in that way unless the faces and number plates are blanked out.

I think I would go by the Guardia Civil site on that.
