Acid reflux

I'm sure most people who get this often go to doctor to get it investigated. It can be something simple but also something very serious. My Gran had this for a year or more and took every antacid under the sun. When she finally could not eat much at all and lost weight she went to doctor..a long story short, it was stomach cancer and although they operated for her comfort, it was terminal.
On the other hand we have a friend in Spain with same condition who went for investigations in early stages of the acid reflux/indigestion and the operation was a complete success and well past the 5 year survival rate.

I also have acid reflux when I take steroids (well known side effect!) and also from Rosé Wine but no other wine (Thank heavens!LOL). I avoid the Rosé Wine, but when I take steroids, occasionally for a chronic condition, I now use omeprazol at the same time.

Always worth being investigated!
