What's your thoughts on these ? Are they a fad? Are they practical? Do they live up to the hype?
I purchased from Anazon.es this week a 12L machine and have yet to use it so welcome your thoughts/ recipes etc

Ive got one and really like it, think it's a large capacity but not really big enough for doing a roast and mine doesn't seem to come apart for washing. It's certainly seems to cook fairly fast, I use this more than the halogen.

I have always used our Halogen which is perfect for two people, but since having my airfryer I use it more. Definitely worth getting. Can get recipes on web as mine didnt come with any recipes. Perfect for chicken, chips, jacket potatoes, fish, even pizza. Some people use the rubber containers as there is less cleaning, but I find that foil is great . Be very careful not to use a metal cleaner for inner as takes away non stick if not using a liner. Everything is crisp and quick and I love it.

Wow! Another world in cooking. Sadly, I have absolutely no intention of getting one. I don’t want one and I don’t know how to use one so I’m not getting one!
If I change my mind, I’ll tell you but very well done to all of you innovated cooks. It frightens me!

I had 2 Tefal Actifry machines in the UK, & both blew up just out of guarantee. However I did get my money back as I argued they were not fit for purpose. These were the early models & it was 10 years ago, my models had a rotating paddle that pushed the food around a moat type bowl. It put me off buying the new models although they sound better with shelves etc. Has anyone had an old paddle model & now has a new air fry model & can you confirm new models are much better. Thank you.

I thought I had a large capacity one but no way would a shelf fit in, I shall start looking around for a larger one and a more decent make now I know how good they are. I shall also try and find one that comes apart for easy washing.

Absolutely worth the money. Cooks quickly, any fat drains into the bottom. I’ve just bought liners for mine so won’t even have to wipe it clean.

I use one, especially when cooking for one or two people, they are great no fuss, and easy to clean, unless you really need to cook for a few people get a small to medium one, not one of the huge I cook a chicken or full leg of lamp type, they will be a waste of money to run, but cheaper than a normal oven
