Airport Taxi Rates

Hi, I have a friend visiting Quesada on Monday next week. Just wondering if anyone knows how the taxi rates at the airport work. Are they a fixed rate for the destination you are going to like say the mini cabs here in London or does the meter tick over every mile or so.
It would be good if she had an idea of a rough outlay.

Alternatively if anyone does a few airport runs every now and then please let me know.

My recollection from getting an airport taxi last autumn ( a delayed flight, ended up arriving in the middle of the night ...) was that it is on a meter but to Quesada area was c55 euros. Easy to get and convenient... but if you book a pick up from Quesada taxis in advance ( their ad is on the side of the forum ) I understand its a 45 euro fixed fare.

Hi Shiva, thanks for the info. I think she would be happy with the 45.00 fixed rate so i'll have a peek at the ad and chase it up.

Hi my family and friends recently used quesada taxis ,45e from alicante airport for the two of them ,my friends were 75e for 5 of them ,the taxi people were at arrivals with a board with there names on it ,very good service ....

We have also used Quesada Taxis booked round trip EURO 90.00 did on line and they where at airport when we arrived and collected us on time when leaving hotel

Any idea how much a taxi cost from benimar to alicante hospital would cost both ways

It will be on the meter so it depends on where in Benimar you are but work on 25 euros each way and you won´t be far wrong..

Of course, you can book a Quesada taxi only to to the hospital, you can´t book them back, you have to use a Torre taxi for the return...

I think it costs about 25 euros each way to Torrevieja Hospital. A lot more to Alicante Hospital.
