Did you, perchance, click on a button that said something like try Prime free for 30 days? If so, and it is very easy to do, then after the month they start charging you if you haven't cancelled it.


€36 is the cost of a year's membership to Prime.
If you go to accounts and then down to My prime account it will show if you are subscribed by showing the benefits you receive.

It's exactly what I did a couple of years ago. I too was rather bemused and was going to cancel. However, as I have free delivery on goods and get Amazon Prime TV and Amazon Music it's been quite worth while keeping it.
