Animal rescue centre

Animal rescue centre

Is there an animal rescue centre or animal charity in or around Quesada?
I have several towels that I am replacing in my holiday home and would like to donate my old ones.
Thank you for any info.

Yes. It's the municipal dog and cat pound in Torrevieja kind of opposite The large Carrefour. If you take the slip road by the police station it's at the back there. They would welcome them with open arns.

Will they take them in the afternoons? We normally go to torrevieja in the afternoons and can drop some off.

Hi everyone
We took all our towels there this morning. They were very grateful. It's wonderful work they do to care for these abandon dogs and cats. We saw some being taken out for a walk. If I lived here I would want to help too.

Hi,
Thanks for the donation,us volunteers and the staff appreciate any that are given. Even if you don't live here and want to help out you can as a lot of volunteers are only here for a short periods. Any help, no matter how short a period, is welcomed with both dogs and cats.

Hi,
Practically every animal shelter would be grateful for your help either in the shop or with the animals. There's Cats and Dogs Aid ( where I volunteer on a Sunday) and Big Reds whose shelters are in Catral. Torrevieja municipal animal shelter by the fire station always need volunteers, especially for the cats. Finca la Castellena animal shelter in San Miguel need people as well.
Good luck and I hope that you find what you're looking for :-)
