Yes but some people just post a newspaper’s speculative articles which tend to confuse, some post official notices and add their personal interpretation which can be confusing.

Marciff, on the other hand, simply reports the facts with nothing added and, no sensationalisation.

The OP was expressing an opinion and that’s fine just as posts from Marcliff are his opinion and nothing more than that, irrespective of how much research he has done. Also I am one of those who read the daily digest from Alex so don’t see Marcliff’s daily update so therefore am happy to see information from others on the same subject at least. Up to a point.
I would also say that despite the much appreciated research he puts in Marcliff has no official standing and depending on his sources even his information could be out of date or superceded. People who often too lazy to look for the information themselves and so become dependant on Marcliff to do it for them Not a good idea!

Grow up all of you, read what you like, if you are not happy with a post or poster, scroll on by. SIMPLES!!! how many of you would be free with your words if you were face to face with the person who has posted.

Yes some people need to grow up. I too look out for Marclife's updates and rely on them, but I also read other people's posts, some of great interest.
This is a forum not a restricted news bulletin.
Anyone and everyone should be free to post updates and information which they think may be if interest.

I totally agree that Marcliffe is a great source of info, however, this person had not seen or had got in before the updates. was there really any need for such an uproar? such sad people who do this.

A couple of points:-
Why is it, when some people are trying to be helpful, they are immediately "slagged off" by a sad few???!!! If you've heard it before, then that's fine!! Just read on!!
Re the opening of bars etc. - nothing is official yet as the meeting is being held today to discuss measures. So it can't be said for certain yet that that they will open but I have my fingers crossed, not because I'm desperate for a drink, more for these establishments to get back on their feet again!
Also, I have never seen aby of Marcliffs daily updates as I don't know where to find them? However, this man is only doing his best to be helpful and I'm sure HE certainly doesn't think he is the only person that can post information on this forum!
We all have enough on our plates at the moment with one thing and another so for goodness sake - just be kind! We don't need anymore negativity in our lives!
There seems to be a little light at the end of the tunnel so please just look towards that!
