Bin collection council tax

My annual suma for bin collection has gone from €78 to €129 works out at 65% increase in one year. Was there any news on the increase?

Thats to pay for the 12 extra cleaners in Orihuela City and none for the coasta

Be good if they actually emptied the bins on a regular basis!

I’m more than sure the residents of Rojales don’t pay for waste collection in Orihuela!

Each municipality has it own fees - those in Orihuela may not have a huge increase

I know the amount I pay in Guardamar has increased, but it’s not the same percentage as Rojales. (approx 35%).

There’s been no increase since before the pandemic, they are simply applying the amounts they would have increased each year. What you are paying now is what it would be anyway had the normal annual increases been applied.
