I thought the announcement was foreign travel was "completely off the cards" from UK until at least the 17th May?
Here, until March 2nd, only Spanish residents or citizens are allowed to come by air from UK and we are awaiting an update on that from the Spanish government by the end of this week.
Bars and restaurants etc are completely closed here also until 2nd March and we are expecting this to be lifted on Thursday so that they can open during the daytime. Shops, apart from supermarkets, have to close at 6pm and we are again awaiting an update on that this Thursday.

Hi Marcliffe, whereabouts did you see the 17th May as I couldn’t see anything specific about travel other than it will be reviewed 14th April? We have flight booked for 28th April but it’s not looking too good is it!

17th May was the date given by Boris yesterday about foreign holidays.
But none of theat really matters, because until the Spanish government lift the ban on only Spanish Residents and Citizens allowed into Spain no one will be going to Spain.
So, If you are flying out on the 28th April and the Spanish Govt have lifted the ban by then to none residents and citizens technically I suppose you could fly, particularily if you are a home owner.
You could argue you are travelling to Spain to check on your property, and not going on a Bucket and Spade holiday to Benidorm.
It's all If's, Buts and Maybe's.
But as I see it, the majority of people on here, who are owners, will be going nowhere until the Spanish Government allow non residents in to tend to their properties.
As for the Bucket, Spade and Buggy Brigade, they will have to wait until at least May 17th before they can leave the UK
