The yearly fee to your solicitor would be just for lodging your annual income tax return to Hacienda/AEAT on Modelo 210. There is no point in holding the solicitor responsible as once they did the initial set up of the Dr/debits they wouldn't have any way of knowing what was going through your bank account every month/year. That would be your responsibility. I hope this doesn't sound harsh as it's not meant to be. We had something similar happen when we fell off our Fiscal Reps system during an upgrade on their system. Just had to pay up and keep smiling. You can always check your SUMA by going on their site and using the Numero Fijo/OBJ TRIBUT which is on your bill and your NIE number.

Thanks no offence taken, you are right, I had thought this was set up when I bought the house, but it’s paid now, no fines too, in earlier posts I learned how to pay my car tax on line, so I know what to do again I thought car tax had been set up, but seemingly I was late in doing it, but they confirmed today everything is now set up. And in future they will take the payments. But hey 5 years, you would have thought a letter with a bill saying.. sir pay your tax or else we’ll give ya a slapping, I would have paid it in 2017..
The tax people are so err slack! I have no issues paying, but so used to getting reminders for everything in the UK, that one does not expect this ‘yawn’ tomorrow, next week, next year, next decade attitude in Spain.. no wonder they have no money..

Just a thought as well, in Torrevieja, the rubbish tax was included in the quarterly water bill. For the last couple of years, it has been a seperate bill paid through SUMA. So now we have 4 bills per year paid through SUMA, 2 rubbish, 1 council tax and one car tax.

Maybe you should check whether you’re getting value for money with your solicitors charge. My assessores calculate my non residents yearly tax from a copy of my Suma bill that I send them each year. Other than that they are on call for any other issues that arise from my Spanish finances.
I also have a parking Vado that is paid via the Suma office.

Hi,
I personally think you will have to ask if your NON RESIDENT TAX is paid, which you have to do yearly if you are not a resident of this country with model 210 form.
Check this and hopefully you get it all salved.
Good luck!

Hi Philip, I don't understand items 2. and 4. on your list:

2 property tax. Yearly
- Do you mean "IBI" (Council Tax) payable to your Town Hall via the SUMA agency?

4 Personal income tax declaration . No ES earnings Yearly
- Do you mean Non-resident property tax (Modelo 210)? If you're not resident in Spain and have no income earned here, you wouldn't be doing a Modelo 100 Income Tax return.
