What makes anyone think the 'out' campaigners know the full extent of withdrawal?
The truth is, no one knows.

Quite right... but I get the sneaky feeling that we will be asked to vote, but we won´t know what we are voting for...

click on this link . http://www.bbc.co.uk/guides/zgjwtyc It is a somewhat biased report by the BBC [BBC biased...surely not...shock horror] It is however quite informative and does give some good facts .
Of interest I notice a lot of people on this forum saying that they have not been kept informed of what will happen if [and hopefully when] we leave. There is a simple reason for this ...no one knows, but we managed without them before, Switzerland seems to be coping.Look at the facts....

Switzerland is coping because it has a population of less than Greater London and has virtually no defence or national health budget. It has been a haven for quiet and confidential money matters for many years but even that has been taken away and they must now provide details of money going into an account when requested. It also pays no interest on any accounts.
It is not a member of the EEA but has bilateral agreements with the EU countries and remains a part of EFTA. It has to adopt the rules on free movement of people and goods. Indeed, when they tried to impose a quota on immigrants a year or so ago they were slapped down by the EU for breaking the rules and had to cancel that.
If UK leaves but stays in the EEA or joins EFTA, it would still have to obey the rules the EU lays down but would no longer have any voting rights at council or parliament sessions.
Bit like comparing chalk and cheese with UK and Switzerland.

Somehow I get the feeling that your girlfriend doesn`t have access to this forum.......
I was a stay in but read Tony Blair also wanted the UK to stay, which has given me second thoughts.

I know, shocking isn't it? On one side we have Blair and Kinnock who want us to stay in and on the other we have Farage and Galloway who want us to get out.
Where is a bloke supposed to turn?
