Cadastral meaning?

Hi all
Need to pick your brains!
We have just had our electricity upgraded and our sparky ( great Spanish bloke) is asking for our “Cadastral Reference of the house”to complete his report,we are in the uk until April so there’s a lot lost in translation at the moment!
Is the Cadastral something to to with the deeds of the house!
Or proof of our property? Or something else?

You will find it on your SUMA bill or if you have a copy of your Deeds it is the reference on them. It is a long Alpha numeric number.
If you look at the other post on house number it is asking much the same question. If you haven't got it to hand you can zoom in to where your house is on this link and you will get your cadastral reference number

This database covers all properties in Spain and is kept up to date, as it’s compulsory to report any change to a property to Cadastro since 2014.

I would avoid taking the reference from your deeds. As I recall our reference was changed a few years back as they made adjustments to the land register. Best to take it from the SUMA receipt which unfortunately they don't send out any more but you might have one in your records or go to the SUMA office
