CAR HIRE IN THE UK

The only difference was that they wanted to see my return ticket (from Cardiff airport).

However, be prepared for a bit of a shock as prices have certainly rocketed. It cost me nearly 600 quid for a medium sized car for a week. An extra 100 and so quid if I'd requested an automatic.
