Car hire recommendations please

Looking for genuine decent firm for car hire please. Needing to collect the car from Alicante airport but staying in Quesada. Have heard some stories and don't want to be ripped off. Any recommendations please?

yes. would highly recommend Luz Car hire. there only small but we used them and they were excellent. if you need anymore. details pm me. anytime no problem.

Centauro are excellent and are on site at airport. Newer cars than most and I've never had a problem. Just returned to UK yesterday after dropping off a car that only had 3k on clock (still had new car smell). Drop off is really quick which is great if you are tight for time. I would particularly avoid RecordGo (old cars).

Yep Centauro are great. Good prices, new cars and the car pickup is on the ground floor of the multi-story so easy out of the airport. Never had to wait more that 15 mins at the desk unlike Record Go & Gold Car.

Magnum Rent A Car. Pick up from Alicante Airport. Very reasonable.

Look at rentalcars.com and then be selective about the company you go for. I tend to use Firefly, but most of the big companies also have a cheaper subsidiary

There are ones you should avoid. Check on Tripadviser for advice.

Take out your own insurance cover if renting for anything more than a few days. The car hire companies can charge more for insurance than the car hire.

We are using Coys several years. Great service. Reasonable price. No surprises.
