He's just done some work for me a fews weeks ago and he said he was waiting for a date to go back to the UK for the funeral of a good friend so I suspect that that's where he is at the moment.

Well when I asked him to do a job for me a while back he was reticent about making a date because a good friend had a died in the UK and in spite of work committments he could not, not go to the funeral.
He looked at my job on 24 October and did it on 24 November and said he'd stlll not heard when the funeral was taking place.
But he's done a lot of work me and I can highly recommend him for price and workmanship.
