But why? Only one of you can shop!

Remember the solution to beating this virus is in the hands of the people. Stay at home, avoid other people and don't get sick.

Surly you can see that the poster Wants to get out of the house. It’s called cabin fever. The person probably doesn’t care if they must remain in the car, all they want to do is get out for a while. Simple as that and hopefully no harm done.
It must be dreadful to be completely imprisoned and a quick outing to the shops is a break.
Staying isolated is vital but travelling together in the car can’t do any harm as long as you don’t run out if fuel and have to walk home!
Enjoy your little outing and stay safe.

Might hit their wallet but would focus many minds of idiots whose one aim at the moment is finding a way around the clearly stated restrictions.

I'm really sorry MB but I'm far from an idiot thank you very much! I'm really sorry if what we heard on the radio FOUR times yesterday and one phone call to the national police turns out to be incorrect.

I have been through all the various states of alarm documents issued by the government and, more importantly, the extension to the state of alarm decree which some people are saying now allows two people to go out in cars.
No it doesn't.
Article 7 of the state of alarm reads like this:
And take particular note of 1 h.
Article 7. Limitation of the freedom of movement of people.
1. During the validity of the state of alarm, people may only circulate along the roads for public use to carry out the following activities:
a) Acquisition of food, pharmaceuticals and basic necessities.
b) Assistance to health centers, services and establishments.
c) Travel to the workplace to carry out their work, professional or business provision.
d) Return to the place of habitual residence.
e) Assistance and care for the elderly, minors, dependents, people with disabilities or especially vulnerable people.
f) Displacement to financial and insurance entities.
g) Due to force majeure or need.
h) Any other activity of a similar nature that must be done individually, unless accompanied by people with disabilities or for other justified cause.
The amendment to the original state of alarm which increased the duration of the lockdown states:
During the validity of the state of alarm, people may only circulate along the roads or spaces for public use to carry out the following activities, which must be carried out individually, unless accompanied by persons with disabilities, minors, the elderly, or for any other reason. justified
The amendments to the Real Decreto 465/2020 which is the document extending the period and adding a few other restrictions can be read at this link:
Real Decreto 465/2020
Confusion is arising because the complete extension document says that if two people are travelling in a car then one must sit in the back on the opposite side of the driver and wear a face mask. They have completely missed the bit above that statement that clearly says it will only apply to persons with disabilities, minors, the elderly or for any other justified reasons such as a medical emergency. It does not apply to all and sundry.
If anyone can point out in that anywhere where it says 2 people can now travel in a car then, by all means, go for a drive.
No it doesn't.

Has anybody been out today because the Diario Information said there would be checkpoints at all exits to the large towns in case people tried to go to their second/holiday homes.
