Certifying a UK passport.

Hi, I need to have my UK passport certified by a solicitor and a copy sent to the UK for legal purposes.
Who and where can I get to do this in Spain.
Any advice and recommendations appretiated, also an idea of costs.

I think what you want is a certified copy? In that case a Notary will provide one for about €5. I had one done at the Notary in Rojales, it's above a shop near the old bridge, on the police station road.

Could you tell me if the Notary in Rojales speak English or would I need an interpreter? I also need to have my passport notarised as I do not want to post the original to U.K. solicitor. Thank you for any help
