The cheese lady (who used to post on these sites) is rather different to Carrefour. Yes, Carrefour has lots but so does Gama.
The cheese lady does things like Cheshire cheese, Stilton with different fruits, occasionally has Caerphilly cheese and a vast array of other British cheeses which are not normally available elsewhere, including Iceland.
She used to have a shop in Benijofar (I think) but I believe the rent and associated costs got too much so just has stalls at markets now.

Janine is the lady in zocco. She offers a wonderful selection of can't get anywhere else cheeses. Always the highest quality. Cannot recommend more highly.

All my cheeses are from artisan dairies and are cut fresh each week. I do not have the buying power Carrafour have, but keep the prices as competitive as I can due to the exchange rate, delivery costs. I carry 35 to 40 cheeses which I would say is a good choice, I have tried supplying other cheeses from a variety of countries but they do not sell well. I had to close my shop due to the lack of customers so making it very hard to pay the bills.
