Don’t bother, I’ve just looked it up, in the EU it’s a novel food, used a lot by vegans, it’s found in a lot of breakfast bars and breads, as it’s a cheap filler.
Fortunately I’m a carnivore I eat meat, any meat.
Like: Alligator, Beef, Chicken, Emu, Eggs, Fish, Frogs legs, Goat, Horse, Lamb, Ostrich, Pheasant, Pigeon, Pork, Snails, Snake, Turkey, Veal, yep if it runs, walks, flys or swims and it’s edible, in it goes..

Don't believe everything you read in the Daily Express
Tony was asking where he could buy them not your advice on their nutritional value

If you look at some other posts, this person is moaning about the attitude of some people on this forum!

Now I’m confused! Who are you referring to?

Like Philip, these Chia seeds are relatively new to me. My niece was telling me about them recently and how good they are for us nutritionally. I imagine Philip has never heard of them and was interested in what they are, hence the reason he asked.

Chia seeds are THE best source of Omega 3's. People eat way, way too much Omega 6's and way, way too little Omega 3's. When you eat animal products and too little Omega 3's you end up getting "inflammaging" when you reach middle age.

Think of it like you are on a bell curve, when you get to middle age its a slow slide downhill. Omega 3's are a great way of slowing this decline; but better still to be either vegetarian or vegan if you really care about wanting to live to a ripe old age without diseases, poor heart health and joint failures.

Over ten years ago I was a manager at Hovis also a master baker ( no comments please ) We were the first major bread manufacturer to start the recipe of the loaf. As people have said Chía is one of the best seeds you can buy and the best loaf for additional supplements followed by the 7 seed.

Chía tea and a chia latte also have benefits, but of course the tea is the better option.

Must admit I've not heard of chia tea or chia latte.

Chai tea and Chai latte, yes, but neither of those contain chia seeds!

Hate predictive text, you are correct but they are closely related so you do get some benefits.
