Christmas in Quesada?Hi All

Hi All,

We’ve been coming to the area for our summer holidays for around eight years now and have rented villas in a range of areas such as Algorfa, Los Dolces, Cabo Roig, Las Ramblas etc, and this year stayed in Quesada. We are thinking of coming over around the 22nd Dec until 31st Dec but wondering what it is going to be like out of season? What’s the weather really like? Shops, bars, etc, etc? Generally, what’s it like there for Christmas?

Do a lot of bars, restaurants, shops change their hours or even close during this period?

Quesada at xmas is just as busy as normal & most bars & restaurants are open as well as shops etc.

Last year we had our first Christmas in Quesada. The weather was lovely, about 18 degC and sunny in the day, chilly at night down to about 9 or 10 degrees. Everywhere was open as usual, plenty of people about, El Pirata bar at La Marquesa was open Christmas Day until about 9pm and many restaurants were doing Christmas Dinner, obviously at high prices. New Year was excellent as well with lots going on and fireworks at midnight. I can thoroughly recommend it.
