Over 80s will start getting the second booster tomorrow. Appointments have already been sent by phone so you must make sure your details are up to date with the medical centre.

Spain has no shortage of this new vaccine and have over 40 million on order. But, as Gustav says, they are not going the same route as UK and calling everyone as they don't think it is yet necessary. No 5 or 6 jabs here as they reckon people will get so cheesed off of being called so often they will just ignore it. The plan to ensure the maximum number are vaccinated worked well for the first jabs and the booster with a far greater percentage take up than most other countries.

Our GP practice is back to normal and I’ve seen my doctor. I’ve also seen a Gynae and had a small procedure carried out at the hospital . I’ve also seen my dentist so things are back to normal in our part of the world. I’ve also had my autumn ‘flu and Covid jabs.
The population in the U.K. has grown and is now out of control. Here in Northern Ireland, it’s still a reasonably small area so not facing the challenges they face on the mainland but still have massive problems trying to find carers so that elderly folk can be discharged from hospitals and freeing up beds. Our neighbour had a fall a few months ago and is now back in his home with carers coming in 4 times a day. Thankfully, he’s doing very well. We are a country of older people and this is extremely challenging.

I had my covid jabs in the UK. The nurse at the Centro de Salud was able to add my vaccination info into the Spanish system. So yes, you can get jabbed in the UK and get it recorded in Spain via the Centro de Salud.
