Good Morning all ,
Led to believe Community President does have the authority to close his/her communal pool, ours has for various reasons over the years.

I think it should be put to the owners and then vote as it's the owners who pay for the running cost of the community. As sometimes the president thinks the pools and gardens belong to them if they live there full time.

I'm sure our president told us the opening of pools was at the president's discretion as they have some liability for it also.Contact your administrator for clarification.
I'm glad I dont have to do the presidents job and I'm glad somebody cares about the community environment. Can you imagine what some some urbs would look like..if no one cared.
It all affects the purchase price and salability of your property folks ..

Normally things have to be put forward to the owners but these are not normal times. If people are not doing what they must like wipng down areas they have used and continue not to do so the president can close it immediately. Owners would soon complain about a 60,000 fine.

I agree if people are not been responsible for cleaning the areas and hand rails and not social distancing then close the pool, but if he's just closed the pool without consulting owners then that's wrong.

No its not. Have you spoken to him to ask why? That would be my first step if there's no sign up saying why.

On a conjunto of 50 properties there are approximately 9 occupied and everyone is conforming to the rules and regulations. Have spoken to administrators and waiting for their reply after speaking to committee.
