Me too Sage. I do find myself seeing the funny side of things in the midst of the gloom. I have a black sense of humour seemingly!

I am sick of seeing the dog walkers in their little groups strolling around the park, stood chatting, and don’t tell me oh we are a meter apart! You are not meant to be doing that, dogs are meant to be taken out by your house to do what they do, they are NOT meant to be taken for a walk round the park! I wish they would shut the park and if I could report them I would, I think it’s totally irresponsible, and at the present time illegal,

Sending the Japanese good vibes Glassman. Germany have also announced they have a promising one. Come on scientists and biologists give us all a break.

A lot of good a vaccine is going to do. We'll all have to have another one as soon as it mutates. I'll stick to my immune system fighting off any issues rather than flooding the pharmaceutical companies with even more billions.

Are we absolutely sure that the Duke of Edinburgh is still alive? he always said that he wanted to come back as a virus and solve the over population problem .

He's not needed. We have Bill gates to the rescue, who has openly proclaimed publicly on numerous times, that if 'we' do a really good job with vaccines, 'we' can reduce the population. Yes you read that correctly.

Whilst a lockdown is needed, regardless of progress with a vaccine etc, we can still only lockdown for so long otherwise the economy completely colapses, business goes, airlines go bust and governmemts then the public will run out of money.
Sooner or later, professor not, the lo known must come to an end

Exactly Steve4878. The longer this crisis goes on (regardless of my already stated opinions about it in other posts), the more likely it is we will have complete economic collapse, akin to the 1930's global depression. It's not theory, that is just logic and common sense. You cant shut down the majority of a nations economy and expect that borrowing or printing more money to solve the problem is going to work. Printing money will just cause hyperinflation. If people don't work, they don't eat, and if they can't eat, they die of malnutrition and other diseases, if revolutions haven't started first. Already there are reports coming out of Italy of people being driven to desperation because they have no money to buy food to eat. If the lock down continues for much longer, i predict that the solution to this crisis (the lockdown) will cause much more damage than the cause. P.s avoid any vaccine.
