I am in no way an economist either so maybe someone more qualified can step in and correct me if i'm wrong. I may also need a bit more clarity with regards to your question in order to answer it properly. When you talk about where has all the money gone, do you mean the money of businesses or nations, or something else?
If it's businesses you mean, then they obviously need to function in order to bring money in through the door. If they do not operate, then no money is coming in. If no money is coming in for an extended amount of time, then they cant pay their outgoings. Everyone may be on lock down now and is having a time out, but the bills don't have a time out. If the situation continues, then workers get laid off, the companies that supply them lay off staff, and so on and so forth. Eventually, they go under.
With regards to a nations money (and this is a very extensive subject of which i am not currently well placed to explain), various nations have been printing money out of thin air for a while now. There have been various quantitative easing programs in the UK, Eurozone and the U.S. What this effectively does is inject more money into the said economy. Basically, this injection of money waters down the value of the currency already in existence, meaning that you need more money tomorrow to buy the same goods you did today (if that makes sense). So if they continue to print money, with no means of wealth creation (because everything is shut down) then this will cause hyper inflation (think Zimbabwe). So you then need a wheelbarrow full of notes in order to buy a loaf of bread because these paper notes are now worth sod all.
With regards to who has the money, well, that is another discussion entirely. I would recommend you look into the fractional reserve banking system and how its all a setup and destined to fail. There are many a documentary on Youtube that can explain things a lot better than i can.

What he is saying is if people do not work they do not get paid. No money then no food.
Law and order break down the country does not have revenue so prints money it does not have.
Germany in the 20's a wheel Barrow full of money would not pay for a loaf of bread.
