Postby sunworshipper » Thu Sep 24, 2020 1:32 pm

Is there a website that shows the number of Coronavirus cases for towns in Spain.
I would like to see the up to date information for local to Quesada , and some places in Costa Del Sol.
Thanks

Its possible a lot of information is being withheld as they don't want to frighten the tourist in the Alicante region, not ma y if any updates being published, a form.of censorship.

Hi I just look at the Spanish Newspapers or Regional Government pages, this is a link for Valencia region:

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.abc. ... a_amp.html

Scroll down and you will see all the towns listed

Load of rubbish.
It's published daily in the press here.
This is a link to a Valencian paper ABC which gives daily updates on the municipalities in the Valencia region. If you use Google it will translate for you and it regularly has a link to the Valencian government website where you can see, by municipality, the number of cases, deaths and new cases in 48 hours.
There's also this link Diairo which is an Alicante province paper showing updates on a daily basis. Again, use Google to open it.
On a national basis, ElMundo does a daily update on "Daily Direct" which shows the situation in every Spanish region as does LaVanguardia although both are Barcelona based papers.
Also ElPais (not ElPais in English but ElPais.es).

Probably papers from the Andalusia region which will give the same.

So a lot of information being withheld is, as I said, a load of rubbish.

For example, this is the date in today's El Mundo

The data of the coronavirus in Spain

    * Source: Ministry of Health
Total figures: 704,209 cases of coronavirus diagnosed by PCR; 31,118 deaths with a positive test on September 24.
  • 210,768 in Madrid (9,190 dead)
  • 134,825 in Catalonia (5,824 dead)
  • 53,725 in Andalusia (1,714 dead)
  • 43,285 in Castilla y León (2,988 dead)
  • 42,047 in the Basque Country (1,828 dead)
  • 39,068 in Castilla-La Mancha (3,093 dead)
  • 37,502 in the Valencian Community (1,574 dead)
  • 34,274 in Aragon (1,360 dead)
  • 20,014 in Galicia (723 dead)
  • 16,595 in Murcia (200 dead)
  • 16,234 in Navarra (562 dead)
  • 13,154 in the Balearic Islands (286 dead)
  • 12,487 in the Canary Islands (218 dead)
  • 9,563 in Extremadura (557 dead)
  • 7,851 in La Rioja (408 dead)
  • 7,961 in Cantabria (232 dead)
  • 4,874 in Asturias (342 dead)
  • 824 in Melilla (4 dead)
