No go into the app itself on your home screen prob. Blue and white with 3 dots across it open it and show your past messages. Top right corner open the menu with the 3 vertical dots go to settings , more settings then text messages your number will be at the bottom under message centre mine showed my phone number but I was told to change to +34then 1st4 digits of my phone number followed by 000003 this allowed me to send and receive SMS messages but I'm still not getting the SMS with the code for Covid cert. Someone above said they'd managed to get the code no prob with a Lobster acc so don't know what's going on as Lobster told me this afternoon the prob is affecting some banks and the Covid site and they are working on it. Meantime I believe you can go to your surgery and they'll print the cert for you

Thanks for that Ron. My settings are correct and already as you have said. So the problem is definitely with Lobster. I can send and receive messages with no problem. So the problem has to be with Lobster and SAN.GVA.ES

Finally, after a week or so, it would appear that Lobster has got its act together. I've just been able to download the EU Digital Certificate. Hope it works for everyone else that has had the problem of not getting the SMS code
