Covid Passports

Re: Covid Passports

As put on my post yesterday detailing where the covid passport will be necessary, they are not required in shopping centres.

But, yes, you have to take the test and the centre doing the test will upload it to GVA and you then print out the diagnostic certificate from the site that has been posted on here a few times.

EU Covid certificate

Obviously you can only do this as a resident. People from UK (or anywhere else) will have to bring their own certificate but, as only double jabbed are allowed to enter Spain from UK, that shouldn't be a problem. Just show the one you travelled with.

Your friend is travelling from the uk? If he isn’t double vaccinated he won’t be able to enter Spain. Tests are not being accepted now.

I read it as to travel to Spain but reading Marcliff's reply and then RH1's response I think his friend is in Spain already and the enquiry was regarding using the passport/test to enter venues that require it, rather than travel.

Yes PGA that is indeed his position - he returns to the UK in 2 weeks and has said he would be happy to buy a test to have an entry to venues that require it if this is acceptable? He would get a paper copy of the PCR/Antigen test and would be able to produce it if that would meet the legal requirements for entry?

There are two certificates, one the Valencian certificate and the other the Covid Green passport (it's not green and it's not a passport).

The Valencia region now refers to as the EU digital certificate. That's the only one you need as it is accepted everywhere.

For those worried about the NHS app certificate, read the following article:

Remember UK vaccination certificates are only valid for 30 days after downloading. You need to download again to maintain current status.
