Have you a UK mobile number linked to your SIP?
The messages sent won’t come through on a UK mobile number, only Spanish number

I’m 45 and have had my first one.

I presume you didn't get AZ being 45. The problem is with those in the 60 to 69 age group and younger people under 60 like teachers, police, fire services and those with illnesses that make them vulnerable if exposed to Covid and who are all scheduled under the AZ vaccine. The latest info is teachers, policia etc will be called in the next 2 weeks but there doesn't seem to be any definite date for recommencing the 60-69 age group. Hopefully the 40,000 doses of AZ expected this week will push things along. Sanidad won't give any information on exactly how many doses of AZ they have in stock. The other problem is the EU contract with AZ ends the end of June and will not be renewed. It looks like some proportion will have to receive Pfizer if the backlog is to be cleared.

Don’t lose hope!! I got a phone call yesterday morning to go to Rojales health centre to get my jab.
I have no idea which one I got as they don’t give you paperwork but I got one. It’s not just English who haven’t had them as there were mainly Spanish in the queue with me.

Hi..after waiting along with the other 60 year olds my wife also got a call to attend Rojales Salud..Yesterday. She went along and was given the A/Z vaccine. This morning she cannot get out of bed as her temperature is through the roof..she is sweaty/clammy and her legs ache. Paracetamol has been taken...we will see how long the effects last. Forgot to say she has also no sense of taste.

That sounds about right for a few people who had the AZ. A friends daughter was rough like that got better slowly and her taste came back after a couple of months. Normally symptoms last about a day and half. Hopefully tomorrow she'll feel better
I'm dreading my second one!

In the medical world it is said that those who have a reaction like your wife after the vaccine most likely had asymptomatic covid at some stage. The muscle in her arm will also feel like she has received a forceful thump from someone. With all the flu-like symptoms she probably can't feel it yet. Hope she is right as rain tomorrow :)

Just back from Rojales Health Center. I am in the 60-65 group, waiting for my first jab. They informed me that tomorrow will be the day for our age group to get the Astrazeneca. They will call this afternoon or tomorrow morning
