Customs fees

Hi can anyone tell me what the post Brexit customs fees are please?

I am looking to buy something from the UK but need to know how much i can expect to pay upon arrival. If it's something small like <£20, do you just pay VAT and that's it?

depends on who you buy the goods from Amazon will quote the exact cost to you including shipping and tax so do Ebay but you have to remember the tax is payable on the total cost of the goods including the cost of shipping and usually there is no import tax on goods below 20 Pounds

Just had a small parcel from the UK ,value was £7and post was £2 ,here in 6days , no duty payable [ as under £22] and the contents were made in Germany .

I bought a dress from Roman Originals when the sales where on reduced to €19 when it arrived ( January) I received a note from Correos stating I had a parcel and I would need to pay €26 this including handling & vat. ( la Marina )

I bought 3 and despite completing the customs form stating they were for my personal use and enclosing a copy of the order and my NIE and Residencia they want 92.18e - not much less than the total cost. Roman say I can claim U.K. VAT back if I get the forms but quite honestly what a hassle. I shall let Spanish customs rerun then as they say they will do and then Roman say they will refund me. Fingers crossed they do receive them or it will be an expensive mistake. Needless to say i won’t be ordering from them again.
Some companies in UK such as M&S seem to have sorted the issue but the problem lies with knowing which ones

Thanks for you comments. Zero fees under £22 is good but it seems to be a mixed bag whether or not you get charged.

I've recieved several parcels from the UK, Hong Kong and China in the last few months. Some from family and others things I've bought on line. So far not one has been subject to any extra fees.
