Take a look at https://www.talkquesada.com/where-to-buy-things-in-and-around-quesada-f104/dab-radio-t25698.html?hilit=Dab. Unless things have changed, I think your purchase was fruitless

If you get one of these, plug it into your cigarette lighter in the car and you can listen to most uk stations through the appropriate app on your phone. eg, gold, classic, absolutely 70s, 80s, 90, and even your local station if it transmits on the web. Works as hands free kit as well.

Much better off with an internet radio if you have broadband... then you can access all global stations

As has been said, DAB isn't available beyond a few major cities in Spain. Last I read about it, Spain had dropped the idea of more DAB coverage.

My DAB radio has a button to switch from DAB to FM, and so I use it on FM. (I live in Quesada.) Perhaps your radio has that option? Just a thought.

We have a DAB radio in our apartment but it just uses FM.

DAB is more popular in the UK than many other countries. Having said that there are claims that it has been somewhat mis-sold in terms of fidelity. Although DAB is very efficient in terms of the number of stations it can host, this is at the expense of hi-fi quality. In the UK many stations broadcast at a bit rate of only 80 kbit/s which is well below the quality of mp3 and indeed FM. It is hoped that a new version called DAB+ will allow higher bit rates hence quality.

Many DAB stations broadcast on Freesat and Internet so that's another way of receiving your favourite programmes.
