If you look at the list above of Boots stores doing the test they are mainly in and around London. There are a couple in Scotland and Birmingham but none in Wales, the north or south west of the UK nor Northern Ireland. So pretty selective.

This article from Independent newspaper gives a list of private health providers who do the PCR test. Also Italy are testing on arrival for free. You just have to isolate for 24hrs at your hotel or wherever. You will probably see more countries doing this.

I also read that the Canary Islands have the facilities to carry out a PCR test on arrival and you have to self-isolate in your hotel or wherever until the results come through. Haven't seen anything about that officially.
Also on the "high placed" rumour control is that, from the 2nd December, anyone entering Spain will require a Covid test regardless of which country they come from, high risk or not. The same rumours were hoping a rapid antigen or antibody test would suffice but, again, this is not confirmed.

The municipalities of Elda and Petrer will have their lockdown (no movement in or out but no home confinement) extended a further 14 days from this Friday until December 4th.
The decision to extend the perimeter closure of the Valencia Community until December 9th will be confirmed shortly.
There is no word on any other municipality being closed or any extension to the curfew hours from midnight to 0600.

Not to alarm anybody but just to make people aware that under Section 6 of the BOE if the authorities determine from the temperature and visual control check at arrivals, or if they determine your Cert is not in order, they can still require you to carry out another PCR test and you have to present it within 48hrs of your arrival.
Section 6
Upon arrival in Spain, when carrying out the documentary health control, passengers who, coming from a country or risk zone of those listed in Annex II, do not adequately accredit the completion of a PDIA for SARS-CoV-2 with a negative result made in the seventy-two hours prior to arrival, they must submit to the PDIA established by the external health services.
Likewise, those passengers who, after carrying out the temperature, visual or documentary controls, are determined to be suspected of having COVID-19, must submit to the PDIA.
Alternatively, passengers may be required to carry out a
COVID-19 RT-PCR test within forty-eight hours of arrival, the result of which must be communicated to the Foreign Health Services by the means indicated for this purpose.

Sadly, 29 more deaths from CV-19 in hospitals in the Valencia Region today and a record second wave total of 15 in the Alicante province.
The Valencian Min of Health, Ana Barcelo, confirmed that the perimeters of the Valencian Community will remain closed until 9th December. This is the date the other restrictions will last until except for the closure of Elda and Petrer which will be closed until 4th December. A DOGV will be issued this Friday confirming those points.
Catalonia will start opening bars and restaurants from next Monday but inside will be limited to 30%. No limit outside providing the distance of 2m is maintained (not 1.5m).
Catalonia is also proposing closing municipalities during weekends and this could extend to the Christmas holidays.
Ana Barcelo said that the Valencia Community is also looking into restricting numbers in social or family groups over the Christmas period. This could mean the current restriction of a maximum of 6 will be lifted on the 9th December but reinstated for the Christmas holidays. She said she did not want the large, family groups getting together and causing a huge increase when the holidays were over.
She also said that they were trying to avoid the complete closure of the restaurant and holiday services as has happened in Murcia and Catalonia.
A decision on any further restrictions over Christmas would be made in the first week of December to give people plenty of time to make plans, she said.
At a health meeting today, some of the autonomous health ministers requested that pharmacies be given the powers to administer PCR testing. The Min of Health responded he was in favour of this provided those carrying out the tests were fully trained and he asked for the autonomous communities to draft their plans for the pharmacies to carry them out.

DOGV published today (Num 8957) simply extends the current restrictions in place throughout the Valencia Community.
The towns of Elda and Petrer are closed to entry and exit until December 4th.
The Perimeter of the Valencian Community is closed both for entry and exit except for essential reasons such as work, assistance to medical authorities and so on. This closure is extended until midnight on December 9th.
The curfew from midnight to 0600 is maintained until December 9th.
The number of people who can meet as social or family groups is restricted to 6 in both public and private areas until Dec 9th.
Parks and gardens may only open from 0800 to 2030.
Capacity of shops limited to 50%.
Restaurants limited to 30% indoors and 50% outdoors with the social distance maintained.
No smoking in public at all unless a 2m distance is guaranteed.
The restrictions take us up to December the 9th which is after the "bridge" of the Immaculate Conception and following the two holidays at the beginning of December.
The president of the Valencian Community has said that new restrictions, or extensions of the old ones, during the Christmas period will be assessed at the beginning of December and announced by December 9th. He has advised everyone to do their Christmas shopping early in order to avoid large crowds and possible disappointment if establishments are limited.

From marcliffs post
No smoking in public at all unless a 2m distance is guaranteed.
Went to a quiz last night, no naming, but next table to two people vaping on and off throughout the evening
Moved to this Thursday night quiz after problems with another well known bar in benimar which allows smoking at the tables, indoor too, even the quizmaster vapes
I hope these people realise they could be fined plus the proprietor

Lots of establishments & individuals appear to be ignoring this legislation. We sat at, & promptly got up & left, a bar terrace in the centre of Guardamar with ashtrays on every table, no sanitiser available & the owner & wife didn't have a mask in sight.

Not an official update as yet but the Spanish government and regions are proposing restrictions over the Christmas and New Year period.
The president of the Valencia Community has said that restrictions could be imposed until Jan 6th but some of those in place now could be limited, such as relaxing the amount allowed to meet in social groups from six to ten.
This does not fit in with the central government plan who have suggested the meeting of six should be kept. They have proposed the curfew times on 24th and 31st December be changed to 0100 to 0600 but the current times be maintained for other dates. They have, however, stated the number allowed in social groups be kept at 6.
It has also said that large events, such as 3 Kings, be carefully studied by the autonomous regions and large groups of people are to be avoided which could be a veiled hint that such events be cancelled. Other meetings, such as going to church, visiting the Belens (those big nativity scenes that many councils put up) be controlled and having a limit of 50% on the attendances. It is also suggested that those attending should not sing but that recorded music be used instead.
In relation to territorial mobility, Madrid has said they will relax the rules over the Christmas period which has led Ximo Puig to state that the perimeters of the Valencian Community remain closed to avoid entry into the region.
The central government has said that territorial and international mobility should be restricted to those trips that are absolutely necessary only and, if they do occur, that the measures in place should be strictly adhered to.
The restrictions to cover the Christmas and New Year period in the Valencia Region will be announced on December 9th when the current restrictions expire.
