Yesterday the Government Minister for Health Carolina Darias announced measures to cover Easter, and some upcoming public holidays, in the various autonomous communites which were agreed at the Interterterritorial Health Council.

"There were no surprises. The Interterritorial Health Council agreed yesterday practically unanimously to close all the communities at Easter, except for the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands, as well as to establish a curfew between 11 pm and 6 am. The number of people per table in the bars is also limited to a maximum of four indoors and six on the terraces , while in the homes no one who is not cohabiting can meet. "An agreement that means the continued saving of lives," according to the Minister of Health, Carolina Darias. This means no travel between Autonomous Communitues except for the usual reasons.

However the Madrid Autonomous Community said it will not close its borders. Minister Darias said she will go ahead and publish the order. This will mean Madrid will have to go to the courts to have the order rescinded. More to follow....

Not yet, there is to be a meeting this week to decide what changes, if any, to the current restrictions will be implemented from the 16th March.

I would think common sense would prevail Fred. If it was a heavy item you might have to give a hand to carry it out of the house. If it was a small light item the person could bring it to the door.

One thing that caught my eye in the official BOE published today is the opening of gyms and other sports facilities like swimming pools at 30% capacity. It says this applies to pools in Urbanizations and hotels etc. Also all sports facilities must close by 8.00pm

Snr Puig has confirmed there will be no change to the current restrictions until after Easter. So everything stays as is for the moment.

Any idea what is meant by after Easter. Easter Sunday is 4th April so anything clearer. That's less than 2 weeks off.
