We went to collect a takeaway at Playa Flamenca and there was a jazz band in one bar, a DJ in another and a singer in another one all in the same bit. Glad I wasn't eating in it was a right bloody racket. That was yesterday around 5 and it was heaving.

Yes Anniep there is music in Torrevieja but not sure about Rojales. The professional singing has never been rescinded in any of the BOEs. https://www.torrevieja.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2071

Also some concerts scheduled for the Auditorium in Torrevieja

An article from today's Informacion on the possibility of extending the curfew and the 10 person gatherings beyond the 24th May.

In less than a week, the deadline given by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community to maintain the curfew at twelve o'clock at night, the limitation of meetings to ten people, as well as the capacity in places of worship expires.

The Consell will be given the margin this week to study how the indicators evolve and decide at the end of it if it will again request the endorsement of the highest judicial body of the Community to prolong these restrictions . Sources of the Generalitat indicated yesterday that the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, will meet towards the end of the week with the experts who have advised him throughout the pandemic and that later the interdepartmental council will be convened to decide whether to request the endorsement again of the Supreme Court to be able to maintain these restrictive measures.

For now, the data continues to be optimistic and the accumulated incidence of coronavirus infection in the Community at 14 days is 29.84 cases per one hundred thousand inhabitants . For the first time in many months the AI is approaching 25, which would mean going directly to the level of minimum alert. The cumulative incidence at seven days this Sunday stood at 13.39, less than half the index at 14 days.

Hopefully all the restrictions will go.
The only sensible one is masks on public transport and the indoors of establishmemts, but only if busy and a safe distance can't be maintained.
Otherwise I think all the other restrictions should stop.

The Province of Alicante has entered a new normal situation by dropping the incidence of active cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days from 25 , as corroborated by the data released yesterday by the Ministry of Health. The average of the ten health departments in the demarcation is 24.28. Since the previous update of the figures , last Friday, there has been a decrease of three points, and of 50 active cases in absolute terms. There are currently 469 sick people in the entire district.

The situation is even more favorable according to data from the Carlos III Health Institute, which has a margin of lag with those of Health because they do not coincide exactly in time. The state body gives the province of Alicante an incidence of 20.39, the lowest in all of Spain . The only demarcation with a similar situation is Valencia, which, according to these data, is also in a new normal with 24.29; Sanidad gives a rate close to 30

The Minister for Tourism Reyes Maroto announced at the the Madrid International Tourism Fair (Fitur), that starting next week, once it is published in the BOE, the restrictions will be lifted for UK travellers to Spain. The borders will be opened to all British and third country tourists , who will not have to present a negative PCR if they are vaccinated , or if the incidence of covid is below 60 cases per one hundred thousand inhabitants. The measure affects both British tourists residing in the province, who until now could come without problems but with PCR if they had a property, as well as conventional English tourists, those who stay in hotels, the large mass of visitors that are missing since August of last year. The businessmen present at the fair received the news with hope and satisfaction , although they remain cautious, since the most complicated thing is missing, which is for the United Kingdom Government to review the classification of Spain and declare it as "green" in a couple of weeks, which would eliminate the obligation of tourists to quarantine upon return. Selling the Costa Blanca as a safe destination is one of the most important messages in Fitur, as conveyed by the president of the Provincial Council, Carlos Mazón , at the head of the Costa Blanca delegation.

Yes it is good news and for people who pop across from Denia to Majorca or Ibiza the restrictions have been lifted also

"As for the Balearic Islands, yesterday President Francina Armengol reported that tourists with a dose of vaccine or arriving from an autonomy with an incidence of less than 60 cases will be able to travel to the islands without PCR test. Good news for the Alicante shipping company Baleària, which connects Dénia with the islands"
