It says here

https://www.informacion.es/comunidad-va ... 62976.html

"The Consell already confirmed a few days ago that the curfew and the limit on social gatherings will be eliminated . "So far it has come, as we said not one day more than necessary." He has defended that it has been a "definitive instrument" for the control of the virus, but has considered that returning this freedom is already a "necessary" measure after 11 weeks with the lowest accumulated incidence in Spain.

In addition, after 226 days the limit of people in the meetings disappears , although it has claimed that this right be exercised "with joint responsibility", that is, maintaining a mask, ventilation and distance.

He also ruled on the end of the use of the mask , making it clear that it should continue to be worn on the street, but it will not be mandatory on the beach and in natural settings. After seven and a half months the curfew and the meeting limit are ended as of Monday. Of course, when meeting with other people, it is advisable to wear a mask, maintain a health safety distance and keep the meeting place ventilated.

Another of the great novelties that has been put on the table is the reopening of nightlife with a capacity of 50% indoors and 100% on the terrace. The time limit for nightlife is finally at 2 am. With regard to the hours of the hotel and restaurant industry, the opening hours will be until 01:00 hours.

The rest of the measures will remain in force until the middle of June and will come into effect as of next Tuesday, June 8."

Is this correct? does anyone have any corroborating evidence?

The only thing I disagree is that wearing of facemasks in the open air has not been scrapped but it is something he is working towards. That is a national decree and cannot be altered by the communities without their say so.

Still waiting for the official DOGV (Valencian Decree).

Marcliff I’ve just read.on CAB a site they state bulletin just published seems to show the U.K. has been removed from exempted countries that can enter for non essential reasons?, I’m not sure how this is working as I thought Spain were allowing anyone who had been vaccinated to come come June 7th?.

Sorry, what's B sh?
No BOE issued in the last few days cancels UK from the list of exempted countries that I can see.
According to the Spanish government website on exempted countries from 7th June, UK is still on with no prior requirements.
It says that travel from 3rd countries are restricted to essential travel only from 7th June 2021 except for the following countries:

Australia China Israel Japan New Zealand Rwanda Singapore South Korea Thailand The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

However, the EU has "reminded" Spain that the consensus is that it should ask for PCR tests from all third countries and that Spain should be consistent on allowing entry.

Infections are rising in the Alicante province and are now up to 30 per 100,000 people, in particular in the Elche-Crevillente health department with has gone from 12 to almost 41 in the last week.

The British Ambassador to Spain has said that the UK will not "territorialise" travel to mainland Spain even though the Alicante Region still has one of the best rates in the whole of Europe. It could open the doors for people travelling from other regions to Valencia to travel to UK and avoid the quarantine rules.

In this province, some 76% of those vaccinated with the AZ vaccine have refused the Pfizer vaccine for the second dose and will wait until sufficient stocks of the AZ vaccine are available.

Several BOE issued today regarding entry to Spain. It is saying that anyone entering must have one of the following:
Certificate showing both vaccines have been administered and must contain:
1. Name and surname of the owner.

2. Date of vaccination, indicating the date of the last dose administered.

3. Type of vaccine administered.

4. Number of doses administered / complete regimen.

5. Issuing country.

6. Identification of the issuing body of the vaccination certificate.

Diagnostic certificate showing the following:
1. Molecular nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT), used to detect the presence of SARS-CoV-2 ribonucleic acid (RNA);

2. The antigen detection tests included in the common list of rapid antigen detection tests for COVID-19, published by the European Commission based on Council Recommendation 2021 / C 24/01.
This certificate will have the following information:
1. Name and surname of the owner.

2. Date of sample collection.

3. Type of test performed.

4. Issuing country.

Or a Recovery Certificate which shows:
1. Name and surname of the owner.

2. Date of sampling of the first positive diagnostic test for SARS-CoV-2.

3. Type of NAAT test performed.

4. Issuing country.

One of these will be required by whatever means of entry is used, land - sea - air.
Coming by air, crews will be exempt.
Coming by sea, crews will be exempt
Coming by land, the following are exempt:
a) Land transport professionals in the exercise of their professional activity.

b) Cross-border workers.

c) Residents in border areas, within a radius of 30 km around their place of residence.

All those under 6 years of age will not have to have any of this documentation.

All this information is contained in BOE A 2021 9352

The FCS (Health control form or locater form) has been modified to include the above and must be completed before arrival so a QR code can be obtained. The QR code is notified to the carrier or at the health control centres at the borders entering Spain.

When the EU digital passport is issued, this will be accepted for travel but filling in the FCS with a QR code before entering will speed up the process without having to show the certificate at the control points.

The above will take place from June 7th.

There's a lot in there to take in. The other BOEs deal with travel from third countries but doesn't seem to make much sense as it includes every third country and seems to ignore the previous list of exemptions. it does refer to other documents and websites so I'll have a look and see what modifications there have been. That is in BOE A 2021 9349 dealing with the modification of temporary restrictions on entry to Spain which I think is saying travellers from exempted countries (it mentions an annex which is not published) are exempted from the travel for essential purposes only rule but must now show one of the certificates listed in the previous BOE. UK was still on the list of exempted countries and can travel without showing an essential reason. As I said, it's a bit difficult to follow without going through all the links they post and it could mean just those previously banned countries will be allowed with a certificate but it would seem odd that all EU countries would need one but not UK.
Finally, the last BOE deals with opening hours of bars, nightlife, discos etc.

Further to the previous post, the Min of Health website is still showing UK as one of the countries that can enter without a Covid-19 test or quarantine for non essential travel.
Looking at some of the links, it would seem these certificates are only required for at risk countries which opens travel to anyone for non essential travel providing they have one of these.

It also says that Spain has, technically, the means to connect to the EU passport site to obtain one but has not yet implemented it. Most of the EU countries are on the at risk listing save for a few areas. The at risk countries include France so it would seem you would need one of those certificates if crossing the land border.

The following are classed as at risk in the EU
Austria
Belgium
Bulgaria
Croatia
Cyprus
Czechia
Denmark
Estonia
Finland (except the Åland and Länsi-Suomi regions)
France
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Ireland
Italy
Latvia
Liechtenstein
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Norway (except the Nordland region)
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Slovakia
Slovenia
Sweden
The Netherlands

All countries outside the EU are classed at risk except for the following:
Australia
China
Israel
Japan
New Zealand
Rwanda
Singapore
South Korea
Thailand
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

So Spain is now accepting antigen test results if arriving from other EU countries, such as say Poland.
Thats much better (cheaper) than needing a PCR so a step in the right direction.

Spain just needs to start issuing the EU covid certificates and we will be moving again.
