For non EU countries, it says that the equivalent issued by other countries, such as the NHS app, will be acceptable provided the vaccine is one that has been approved by the WHO.

These entry requirements to Spain are effective from 7th June.

Seventeenth. Effectiveness.
This resolution will take effect as of June 7 and until the Government declares the end of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19, in accordance with the provisions of article 2.3 of Law 2/2021, of 29 March, of urgent prevention, containment and coordination measures to face the health crisis caused by COVID-19.
When you complete the SpTh form for entry to Spain you will also download a QR code for your vaccine from the EU site. This will produce the words FAST CONTROL and you wont have to show a separate vac cert when boarding or on your arrival.

Also it says whether arriving by land, sea or air you must comply with the health regulations.

Resolution of June 4, 2021, of the General Directorate of Public Health, regarding the health controls to be carried out at the points of entry into Spain

Nineth. EU COVID Digital Certificate.

When the European regulation on the framework for the issuance, verification and acceptance of interoperable vaccination, test and recovery certificates comes into force to facilitate free movement during the COVID-19 pandemic, to passengers coming from countries or areas of risk who use an EU Digital COVID Certificate, in any of its modalities: vaccination, diagnosis or recovery, they will be generated, in the process of filling in the health control form, after its automated validation by SpTH, a QR code with the name FAST CONTROL, which will allow that it is not necessary to show the EU Digital COVID Certificate in the boarding process or in the health control on arrival.

To do this, when the European regulation of the EU Digital COVID Certificate is in full force, travellers who present a certificate issued by a Member State of the Union will use the EU Digital COVID Certificate.

I'm confused. Wasn't Spain saying last week that all incoming travellers would not be required to have any injection, health certificate or negative test result?

I feel this is going to be a quiet summer.

Do the boat people arriving on the shores from africa need all this paperwork?

The UK are on the Exceptions list where nada de nada or nothing is required and I haven't seen anything to rescind that. From today 7th June all EU member state citizens over 6 years of age can enter Spain with either their fully vaccinated certificate or the cheaper antigen test if not vaccinated. This will make it cheaper for families with children who wouldn't be vaccinated. I am not sure if these regs extend to worldwide travellers entering Spain. The Cruise ships are allowed in so I presume it does.

Travellers from Brazil, India and S Africa are still banned from entering Spain.
Only essential journeys can be made from those 3 countries but those from India face a mandatory 10 day quarantine on arrival. The essential reason effectively bans travellers from those 3 even if they are vaccinated and only citizens and residents of Spain or Andorra or those in transit for less that 24 hours providing they don't leave the airport.

For those countries previously denied entry except for essential reasons, the rules have been scrapped and they must, as posted previously, show proof of having the second vaccine at least 2 weeks before arriving. For the Janssen vaccine just one vaccine is required.

Acceptable vaccines are Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen and China's Sinovac. The Russian Sputnik vaccine is not acceptable as it has not been approved by the WHO.

A negative covid test as laid down by the EU will also be acceptable in the 72 hours before arrival or a certificate of recovery from previous infection.

Yes, the ban on cruise arrivals has also been lifted, again as posted previously.

Can't see, on any Spanish or EU site, where to get the EU Covid passport from, though.

The countries not required vaccines or certificates (including UK) were also posted previously.

Yay!
The Valencia Community have now made the EU Covid passport available on their website.
EU Passport

Same type of system as before where you have to enter your SIP card number and a few other details.
It enables you to get the EU vaccination certificate, the negative covid certificate or the recovery certificate.

It comes back the same as before with last digits of your mobile phone and, if that is correct, click OK and they send you an SMS with a code to enter.

You then click which of the certificates you want. The EU passport is valid for 365 days and you get a pdf with the dates and so on.

I only tried it once and got the SMS within 5 seconds. Whole thing only took about 30 seconds including the download which came up virtually instantaneously.
