In the Daily Updates bit as opposed to the Valencia Restrictions.
Several autonomies have been to higher courts regarding the opening hours of bars, restaurants and nightlife. The courts have said restricting hours should not be laid down on a national level.

Because of this, the government has backtracked and will now issue new regulations on restrictions which will maintain those currently in force but remove the limit on closing time for hospitality venues.

The autonomous communities can propose a closing time if the Superior Court of that region allows it.

BOE issued today on travel to Spain from France by land, sea or air.
The previous regulation on arrivals is modified to say that those aged 12 and over must show one of the approved certificates (proof of vaccination, proof of negative test, recovery certificate) which is raised from the previously stated age of 6.

Thanks Marcliffe. 12yrs is a much more sensible age. The good news is that all the Covid 19 tests appear to be acceptable to Spain.

1. Molecular nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT), used to detect the presence of SARS-CoV-2 ribonucleic acid (RNA);

2. The antigen detection tests included in the common list of rapid antigen detection tests for COVID-19, published by the European Commission based on Council Recommendation 2021 / C 24/01.

c) Certificate confirming that the holder has recovered from COVID-19 (recovery certificate).

Recovery certificates issued by the competent authority or by a medical service will be accepted as valid at least 11 days after the completion of the first NAAT diagnostic test with a positive result. The validity of the certificate will end 180 days from the date the sample is taken.

Yes, it was as quick also for me. I downloaded and printed off both Covid Certificates and scanned the QR codes to our phones.

Now here's a turnup for the books. Remember all those restriction last year during the "state of alarm
The Judicial Court of Spain has ruled that the state of alarm was insufficient to curtail the freedom of movement, the freedom to associate and the restrictions on meetings with families. They have ruled that a "state of exception" should have been used which needs the endorsement of the Council of Deputies and the regional supreme courts which the state of alarm did not.

They say the orders to close certain venues were unconstitutional without a state of exception being declared. Consequently, the fines issued for breaking these rules should now be annulled, the money returned and the records deleted.

How this will work with the current restrictions on mobility and curtailing of business hours is not yet known as they come under a separate ruling and agreement by regional supreme courts.

The full details of the court ruling will not be released for a few days and was only passed by a majority of six to five with the casting vote of the vice president of the court.

They aren't saying the restrictions could not be brought in, just that the way it was done did not follow the constitution of Spain.

Apparently, the government was a bit leery of declaring a state of exception (one above a state of alarm and one below a state of emergency) because of the powers it would give to enter properties without a warrant and imprisonment without a trial, not possible with just a state of alarm.

In this area?
Bars/restaurants to close at 0030 with no service after midnight. Nightlife, discos etc can only operate under the same rules as bars and restaurants with no dancing allowed. Table service only and no amateur singers including karaoke.

100% occupancy on terraces and 50% inside but a distance of 1.5m between tables outside and 2m inside. Maximum of 10 per table outside and 6 inside.

Alcohol for takeaway (supermarkets etc) not available between 2000 and 0800.
Shops including supermarkets limited to 75% of capacity.

Maximum number of people in get togethers both public and private is 10 unless from the same or a maximum of two households.

No smoking in any area where a distance of 2m cannot be guaranteed.

Facemasks inside all establishments open to the public and on public transport plus in private cars if occupied by more than one household.
Facemasks in outside areas if a distance of 1.5m cannot be guaranteed. eg markets, shopping malls and crowded streets.

Curfew from 0100 to 0600 in the 32 most affected municipalities but none are in our area (just San Vincente in the Alicante province).

I think that about covers it. Restrictions in force until July 25th when they have to be reapproved by the government and courts.

Not too onerous, to be honest, and common sense prevails.

And due to the restrictions being unconstitutional any fines issued for breaches of said restrictions will also have to be refunded or cancelled if not already collected.
